Kardashing Through The Snow

Hello guys!

I will be posting my last swatch for Kardashian Kolor Holiday Collection "Kardashing Through The Snow" but before I proceed to my swatch I want to take a moment to mention such a sad and terrible massacre happened yesterday at Newtown, CT. Those poor little children must be so terrified I am extending my sympathy to all the families and parents who were affected, it must be so hard for the parents to lose their precious child. We must pray for the souls that were lost and may God heal the hearts of the wounded and I dedicate this mani for the innocent souls may they rest in peace.

Now onto my swatch here's Kardashing Through The Snow a glitter topper consist of small red, blue, green and silver glitters. I used the dabbing method over Blue Satin by Kleancolor. The formula is a little thick but the dabbing method helps the application easy, this one is kinda tricky because I tried using a white base but it didn't turn out pretty it looked like dirt or dusts on my nails so that's why I indeed up changing the base with a darker color to emphasize the different colors of the glitters. Overall I love this polish as long as you choose a right color combination.

All Is Glam All Is Bright

Hey gals!

I have another twinkling beauty for you today from Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolor Collection this one is called "All Is Glam All Is Bright".

All Is Glam All Is Bright a very dense combination of rose almost red and silver fine glitters. Seriously this polish looks exactly the same in the bottle and on the nails. I am so impressed with the formula almost opaque with 1 coat but I applied 2 coats for a total coverage. I thought at first that it will turn out rough after drying but it isn't rough as I thought it may be a little thick but I have no problem during application. I love this one, my favorite from the collection so far.

A Gold Winter's Night

Hello ladies!

How was your weekend? Hope you all had fun. I have a very sparkly polish for you today from Nicole by OPI from the Kardashian Kolor Holiday 2012 Collection but before I proceed to that I want to share with you my recent winning from Let Me See Ur Peacock.

All Is Glam, All Is Bright, A Gold Winter's Night & Kardashing Through The Snow
They're all so pretty in the bottles and I'll be swatching them individually starting with A Gold Winter's Night.

A Gold Winter's Night is a clear based polish packed with rose micro glitters, turquoise and gold bar glitters. I have to say I'm a bit disappointed how it looks in the photos because it is really pretty in real life. In the bottle the glitter looks dense but it applied thin on the nails I only did 2 coats but preferably 3 coats for more opacity and is great for layering. Drying time is average, formula is great I didn't have a problem with the application. Overall I like this polish but not a big fan and no doubt perfect for the holidays.

Mary Kay's Lava + Leopard Print

Hello lovelies!

I have another Mary Kay polish for you today still from the Limited Edition The Art of Nature Collection, this one is called Lava.

Lava is amazingly unique a sheer duo-chrome it has copper, orange, pink and gold it almost looks metallic to me and this one really looks beautiful in real life. The formula is a little bit hard to work with tends to drag when not stroking the brush carefully but unlike Crushed Pearl this one dried a little fast, 2 coats were enough for me even though 3 would be more opaque. I actually didn't apply a top coat and it already looked shiny.

And then I did a free hand leopard print design using Lava as base color and colors I used for the prints were Chocolate Factory by Nanacoco and Chiffon by Jordana. Thanks to Sarah of Charlkboard Nails for such an inspiring tutorial but of course mine is not as beautiful as hers but I tried and I actually love it.

What do you think guys? I would love to hear your thoughts about my post today.

Mary Kay's Crushed Pearl

Hey guys! I'm glad to finally have something to post today after being absent for a couple of weeks and boy I missed painting my nails, what I have for you today is Mary Kay's Crushed Pearl from the Limited Edition Mary Kay The Art of Nature Collection.

Crushed Pearl is a shimmery sparkly taupe with holo glass flecks. I applied 2 coats for full opacity without top coat. I love the subtleness of this polish and considering it's shimmery it is opaque enough with 2 coats the only down side is the drying time is so slow. And then I decided to do a Christmas  Candy Cane inspired stamping. Are you excited for Christmas Day? What do you want to receive this Christmas? Me, I want more nail polish rack of them lol since I don't have a lot in my collection yet.

Glitter Spam

Hello ladies!

I'm glad to be back of being missing for a week and had to make it up for posting glitter swatch spam. I think we all have our lazy days and also I thought it was also fitting since yesterday was my father's first death anniversary so I have to lay low for a while and just chill and remember the days with him. We miss him so much, anyway I really don't want to sound so sad and here's what I put up for today's post. I received all polishes from giveaways :)

You Blue My Heart Away by Daring Digits - this one is so special to me when I entered a giveaway hosted by Alexis of - XOXO Alexis Leigh. The catch was to come up with a name for this nameless Daring Digits polish and they picked my entry and it was so cool. You Blue My Heart Away is a milky white based polish with navy hex glitters, teal micro glitters and blue heart shaped glitters, I used 2 coats over Correction Tape by Spoiled.

White Pearl by A Rhyming Dictionary - this polish is so unique, a milky dusty light blue opaque base with all sorts of fun glitters. I applied 2 coats over Blue-ming Romance by Piggy Polish.

Kaliko II by A Rhyming Dictionary - a mix of red and blue shredded glitters in a suspension base. I used the dabbing method over Chocolate Factory by Nanacoco.

Beauty School Dropout by AquaDaisy - a sheer with a hint of shimmer pink base with black, white and silver holo glitter hex. I applied 2 coats over Pink Friday by OPI.

Seppuku by Nail Pattern Boldness - consists of orange, yellow and hot pink in a clear base, I think I chose a wrong color for the base I should've used an orange or red base for this. I applied 2-3 coats over Chiffon by Jordana.

Mrs. White by Nail Pattern Boldness - a multi-colored matte micro glitters densely packed in a suspension base I believe. I applied 2 coats over Black by Jordana.

I hope you enjoy my post for today. Let me know which of these you think you like the most.

Hare Cosmo Blossoms

Hello ladies!

I'm back with a pretty interesting and unique glitter polish from Hare Polish called "Cosmo Blossoms" and I can't help but just love this, so let me show you what I'm talking about, let's head to the photos.

  • Color Description: A lilac jelly base with small hex green glitters and micro glitters.
  • Formula: Surprisingly very smooth on the texture considering the amount of glitters I expect it to be gritty but the formula is excellent and drag free as well.
  • Finish: Jelly/Glitter
  • Coat(s): 2 coats with top coat
  • Drying Time: Fast
This polish is so unique I love the combination of lilac and green something that you don't see often, this will be added in my favorites. This would look great with a base as well to make the colors pop even more but I love it just by itself. I would definitely check out more of Hare Polishes'.

What do you think of this polish guys? Love it or Leave it? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Pumpkin Orange Glitter

Hello lovelies!

Tomorrow is Halloween and it sucks that I haven't had any Halloween themed mani or any nail art so I decided to make swatches since I have quite a few polishes that are spooky appropriate. Episode 1 is for Blue Cross' Black Light Pumpkin Orange Glitter. I want to apologize for the poor picture quality this polish is so hard to photograph.

  • Color Description: A neon orange jelly base with iridescent glitters
  • Formula: This is fairly a quick drying glitter polish but I'm not quite a big fan of the formula, good thing it's not so thick it makes the application quite easy but tricky. It looks matte when dry.
  • Finish: Jelly/Glitter
  • Coat(s): 2 coats with top coat
  • Drying Time: Fast
My iPhone almost want to give up lol, this polish is so hard to photograph which are so common to neons. I really need a good camera, I want to produce good quality photos for my blog. Anyway, this polish is ok for me I like the color but I don't like the texture it's a little bumpy but thanks to seche vite top coat always does the job. Actually the color looks way brighter and striking in person and I really love the bottle it looks so cute. Overall I like this polish perfect for the Halloween.

Irresistible Charm by Nanacoco

Hello lovelies!

Today I'm doing the last swatch for Nanacoco and this is just so gorgeous it's called "Irresistible Charm". This polish doesn't even need an introduction. The photos says it all.

  • Color Description: A red maroon with a very fine foil metallic base which is more on the red side
  • Formula: Excellent smooth formula and very pigmented that applies evenly and perfectly on the nails without streaking, like most metallic polishes do.
  • Finish: Foil
  • Coat(s): 1 coat is opaque enough but I applied 2 coats, I like more depth on the color.
  • Drying Time: Quite in a slow side
I am truly in love with this color, my husband loved it he said "it's sexy" and that I couldn't disagree. I love foil finished polishes because they're mostly 1 coater and this one is definitely opaque enough for 1 coat but I always apply 2 coats for more intensity.

By the way I wanted to say I apologize for my color description sometimes I just think that I really suck when it comes to describing colors and I definitely need to improve in this category because I want to write good and accurate reviews.

Girls what do you think? Do you own any from this brand? If not I would recommend that you try Nanacoco.
