My Stars Are Black

Hello lovelies!

I did a stamping mani for today and called it "My Stars Are Black" but before I proceed to my mani let me tell you about an exciting news I received today. I received an email from Alexis of - XOXO Alexis Leigh and Ashley of Daring Digits saying they picked me as their winner. I participated on their giveaway and I have to say this is my favorite prize ever. Alexis designed the nameless polish in collaboration of Ashley they exclusively made just 2 bottles one for Alexis and one for the giveaway. I really love the concept of the giveaway because as entrant you have to come up with a name that you think will best describe the polish (see the first photo below). I came up with a name "You Blue My Heart Away" and to be honest I wasn't expecting to win at all seeing other's entries but they picked my name. This means a lot to me and I cannot wait to get this beauty in my mail. Do you think the name fits perfectly with the polish?

So moving on, here's the photos of nails for today:

I used:

Base Coat - Quirius
Base Color - Did It On Em by OPI
Stamp Color - Black by Jordana
Tips - Correction Tape by Spoiled
MASH Stamping Plate # - 11

I really love the design but too bad the color I used for stamping is not so opaque enough to make the design clear and crisp but still I love what I did today.

Thank you lovely followers and readers for taking your time reading my post and making your comments. I love every single of them and in fact every time I read them they always makes me smile and giggle sometimes like an idiot lol. Hopefully, I'll be able to spoil you soon with some little treats. Love you darlings.

Randomly Picked Colors

Hey lovelies!

Have you tried picking your nail colors randomly? I tried it yesterday and it's quite a challenge coming up with a mani that would make the colors work. So I used the RandomNumbers app on my iPhone to pick three colors.

The colors were:

Left to right: Permission To Proceed, Pinky Glitters, & Mint Candy

And then I came up with this:

But I needed the help of white polish for the stamping and accent nail. Actually it's fun picking random colors, it's a creativity challenge. If you have tried this idea before share it, I would love to hear from you.

Until next time lovely readers.

xoxo

Stamping OK! Tips Tacky :(

Hello ladies!

Yayy it's Friday but same old same old for me, still a laid back day. How's your Friday so far? I've been stressed these last few days, I don't know what happen to my sleeping routine the other day I fell asleep at 4:00 am woke up at 7:00 am exhausted and I still want to go back to sleep but I couldn't. I just want to sleep at normal hours gosh! But anyway it'll probably be back to normal I hope. Moving on, I did this mani yesterday and it didn't turn out as I expected and I feel sad about it. I was actually thinking not to post this, but don't have anything to post so I give it a go. I did stamping and french tips and I wished I haven't added the tips it made my mani looks tacky.

I used:

Base Color - Plenty of Fish In The Sea by Spoiled
Stamp Color - Retro Green by Kleancolor
Free Hand French Tips - Pastel Yellow by Kleancolor
Stamp Design - MASH Plate #21

I still need more practice with the stamping, sometimes it looks crooked after transferring. Have a great weekend guys and see you next time.

NOTD: Lucky Clouds

Hey lovelies!

How are you guys doing today? I'm so glad I finally pushed myself to do my nails, I'm just so addicted to games lately -____- sigh! they surely are. Before I came up with my mani today I thought of what colors to choose first and to my surprise I never thought it would turn out what I didn't expect it to be.

I called it lucky clouds because it turned out like a St. Patrick's nail art theme, and this is actually my first attempt of clouds design. This is also one of the trendy nail art out there and the first free hand cloud design I came across with was nailside's and her clouds are perfect. So let me show my first free hand cloud design.

I used:
Base Color - Permission To Proceed by Spoiled
Accent Nail Base Color - Metallic 4 Life by OPI over Correction Tape by Spoiled
Clouds - Did It On Em by OPI, Correction Tape by Spoiled and Permission To Proceed by Spoiled
Top Coat - Seche Vite

Let me know your thoughts with my nails today guys, I would love to hear it. 'Til next time guys.

xoxo Tintin

Dark & Bold

Hello lovelies!

I've been pushing myself to be fit and I'm really glad that I am starting to really take this seriously been starting doing exercise lately and my legs are sore all over, well I guess it's true they say "no pain no gain".

So my mani for today is my third attempt of water marbling, gosh I've been trying to really do good with water marbling but it seems that I can only do a little bit good. I took a bold choice of colors it's dark and vampy and I like how it makes my hands look lighter.

I used:

Spoiled - I Tripped On The Red Carpet
Kleancolor - Retro Green

The design on my left hand looks better than my right hand

What do you think guys? Did I nailed it ^____^? Or do it look tacky? Let me know, I would love to hear your thoughts.

NOTD: Dots The Way It Is

I am really anxious for my package to come, I thought I'm going to have on my mail today but I guess I'll have to wait next week. About the package they are MASH Stamping Plates, Stamper and Scraper and Dotting Tools so that's why I'm really excited. So I just decided to do my nails. I have to say I don't like it that much, I don't know maybe because I put too much colors for the dots and excuse the smudges, the metallic polish tend to smudge easily.

I used:

Base Color - Spoiled Correction Tape
Dots - Spoiled I Tripped On The Red Carpet
Spoiled Plenty Of Fish In The Sea
           Spoiled Permission To Proceed
           Kleancolor Metallic Mango

I hate the smudges it makes the mani looks tacky huhu! Even though it's a bit of a fail, I still wanted to share this with you guys.

Spoiled by Wet n Wild Swatches

As I mentioned on my post yesterday I will be making swatches of my latest haul. So let me show you the swatches I've done today.

1. Paying With Platinum - a sheer duo-chrome polish, the color is like a foil gun metal gray with purple and green flashes. I love the formula it glides smoothly into your nails during application. I applied 3 coats for this one since it is sheer. The first coat appears to be a sheer silver with a hint of purple sheen and I notice just a tad bit of streaks, so not really a big of a deal. I totally love this polish.

2. Plenty Of Fish In The Sea - a vibrant blue shimmer with a glowing teal sheen. Once again the formula is very nice it applies smoothly with little streaks which is usual to shimmer polishes. This is my second favorite from the bunch. I applied two coats for this one.

3. Permission To Proceed - is a green jelly polish which I though at first is creme. Now I even more love the formula of this one. I applied 2 coats.

4. Jail Bait - a neon orange jelly polish which I really love. I applied 2 coats.

5. I Tripped On The Red Carpet - a smooth red polish with a little bit of pink shimmer. This is my favorite out of the bunch with a cool name. I thought the color is sexy and elegant. The formula is very good. I applied 2 coats.

So these are my swatches for Spoiled Nail Polish, I didn't bother to make a swatch for the Correction Tape since it's just a plain creme white polish anyway. Guys, I definitely recommend these colors and this brand. The formula is very good, I read some reviews about this brand regarding the brushes they seem to have a problem with it, but I don't. For the price wise, it's economically cheap which is really surprising of how good this brand is. So let me know what you think about the swatches and which of the colors you would like to have.

Until next time lovelies ^_^

My First Gradient

How are you guys doing today? Today my post is about my first gradient mani which it turned out to be pretty, the gradient wasn't really that perfect but not bad either, but I think I pulled it off with a little help of the holo foil strip that I bought when I was still in the Philippines. I will tell you more about it, as we go along.

Okay so first things first, my base color and gosh I want to smack myself from taking photos of this color, it's a Hot Neon Pink polish from Ruby Kisses HD it's just so hard to photograph using my iPhone. I really need to get a good camera one day. So anyway, I tried really hard to get good photos but I don't think the photos below are really true to color. Let me show you what I'm talking about.

2 coats

So then, I decided to make a gradient mani instead. I used OPI Did It On Em to achieve the gradient  look over my base color. I kind of managed to execute the idea, however it wasn't really successful I don't know, I just let you be the judge. But there's something extra, to make the look pretty special I remember that I have stuff that I use for scrapbooking and I thought it would be cool to apply it on my nails even though they're not intended for nail art but I did an experiment somehow.

So that 's my finish mani right there. Well I think you know that it's self-explanatory how I did the whole thing right? Well guys what do you think of this mani? Do you want to try to use a scrapbooking material as nail art? Share me your thoughts and if did this mani inspired you somehow. Thanks for reading this post.

Retro Green + Holo Pinky Glitter

Hello guys!

I'm excited to share with you my mani for today. I guess I won't be writing as much coz I feel kinda lazy :P

I used:

Iriscolor Pinky Glitter & Kleancolor Retro Green

So first up my base color, Kleancolor's Retro Green and I have to say I really had a hard time taking pictures just to get the shade of green from this one. It always look navy blue on the pictures but anyway, it is a dark blue green color and when it hits the light you can see the dark green shimmer. I guess you know what I'm talking about right. And what I really love about this polish, it is a one-coat wonder.

Then I layered it with Pinky Glitter, and I must tell you this polish surprised me. I really love the holo effect it is perfect with the base color that I picked. Let me show you with the pictures below.

This is so far my favorite mani that I did. What do you think guys? Love it or hate it? Let me know.
