Mary Kay's Lava + Leopard Print

Hello lovelies!

I have another Mary Kay polish for you today still from the Limited Edition The Art of Nature Collection, this one is called Lava.

Lava is amazingly unique a sheer duo-chrome it has copper, orange, pink and gold it almost looks metallic to me and this one really looks beautiful in real life. The formula is a little bit hard to work with tends to drag when not stroking the brush carefully but unlike Crushed Pearl this one dried a little fast, 2 coats were enough for me even though 3 would be more opaque. I actually didn't apply a top coat and it already looked shiny.

And then I did a free hand leopard print design using Lava as base color and colors I used for the prints were Chocolate Factory by Nanacoco and Chiffon by Jordana. Thanks to Sarah of Charlkboard Nails for such an inspiring tutorial but of course mine is not as beautiful as hers but I tried and I actually love it.

What do you think guys? I would love to hear your thoughts about my post today.

Hare Cosmo Blossoms

Hello ladies!

I'm back with a pretty interesting and unique glitter polish from Hare Polish called "Cosmo Blossoms" and I can't help but just love this, so let me show you what I'm talking about, let's head to the photos.

  • Color Description: A lilac jelly base with small hex green glitters and micro glitters.
  • Formula: Surprisingly very smooth on the texture considering the amount of glitters I expect it to be gritty but the formula is excellent and drag free as well.
  • Finish: Jelly/Glitter
  • Coat(s): 2 coats with top coat
  • Drying Time: Fast
This polish is so unique I love the combination of lilac and green something that you don't see often, this will be added in my favorites. This would look great with a base as well to make the colors pop even more but I love it just by itself. I would definitely check out more of Hare Polishes'.

What do you think of this polish guys? Love it or Leave it? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Pumpkin Orange Glitter

Hello lovelies!

Tomorrow is Halloween and it sucks that I haven't had any Halloween themed mani or any nail art so I decided to make swatches since I have quite a few polishes that are spooky appropriate. Episode 1 is for Blue Cross' Black Light Pumpkin Orange Glitter. I want to apologize for the poor picture quality this polish is so hard to photograph.

  • Color Description: A neon orange jelly base with iridescent glitters
  • Formula: This is fairly a quick drying glitter polish but I'm not quite a big fan of the formula, good thing it's not so thick it makes the application quite easy but tricky. It looks matte when dry.
  • Finish: Jelly/Glitter
  • Coat(s): 2 coats with top coat
  • Drying Time: Fast
My iPhone almost want to give up lol, this polish is so hard to photograph which are so common to neons. I really need a good camera, I want to produce good quality photos for my blog. Anyway, this polish is ok for me I like the color but I don't like the texture it's a little bumpy but thanks to seche vite top coat always does the job. Actually the color looks way brighter and striking in person and I really love the bottle it looks so cute. Overall I like this polish perfect for the Halloween.

Irresistible Charm by Nanacoco

Hello lovelies!

Today I'm doing the last swatch for Nanacoco and this is just so gorgeous it's called "Irresistible Charm". This polish doesn't even need an introduction. The photos says it all.

  • Color Description: A red maroon with a very fine foil metallic base which is more on the red side
  • Formula: Excellent smooth formula and very pigmented that applies evenly and perfectly on the nails without streaking, like most metallic polishes do.
  • Finish: Foil
  • Coat(s): 1 coat is opaque enough but I applied 2 coats, I like more depth on the color.
  • Drying Time: Quite in a slow side
I am truly in love with this color, my husband loved it he said "it's sexy" and that I couldn't disagree. I love foil finished polishes because they're mostly 1 coater and this one is definitely opaque enough for 1 coat but I always apply 2 coats for more intensity.

By the way I wanted to say I apologize for my color description sometimes I just think that I really suck when it comes to describing colors and I definitely need to improve in this category because I want to write good and accurate reviews.

Girls what do you think? Do you own any from this brand? If not I would recommend that you try Nanacoco.

Chocolate Factory by Nanacoco

I have another local beauty store brand for you today, it's called Nanacoco I don't know if any of you have already heard of this brand this is actually my first time. I only picked two colors and today I'm swatching Chocolate Factory.

  • Color Description: A rich dark chocolate brown creme
  • Formula: Excellent smooth formula, very easy on the application and pigmented.
  • Finish: Creme
  • Coat(s): 2 coats for full opacity with top coat
  • Drying Time: A bit in a slow side
I love browns and this one is gorgeous reminds me a bitter sweet dark chocolate. Brands like this always surprises me because you always get to hear about the mainstream ones and there's actually a lot of brands that are not recognized but are very good and cheap. I think I'm going to get more colors from Nanacoco especially their HD colors they are stunning.

Girls what do you think? Do you own any from this brand? If not I would recommend that you try Nanacoco.

Blue Satin by Kleancolor

This is going to be the last of the Kleancolor that I'll be swatching and then I'll move on to Nanacoco. What I have for you today is Blue Satin by Kleancolor.

  • Color Description: I would describe it as a dull navy blue jelly base with purple undertone packed with subtle glass flecks, few holo bars and holo glitters.
  • Formula: I really like the formula not thick or runny just in the right consistency which makes the application so easy.
  • Finish: Jelly Glitter
  • Coat(s): 2 coats for full opacity with top coat
  • Drying Time: Fast
I think this polish is unique on its own, I like that the holo bars and glitters are not densely packed. The glitters and glass flecks looked subtle on your nails which makes it unique and I think this is one of my favorites from this brand.

Holo Chrome by Kleancolor

Hello ladies!

This is a continuation of my individual swatches for local beauty store brands I picked up last week, they're Kleancolor and Nanacoco, for some reason underrated brands interests me because you don't see them often or they're not as popular as the mainstream brands. So what I have for you today is "Holo Chrome" by Kleancolor.

  • Color Description: A blurple jelly base packed with metallic silver and holo glitters
  • Formula: Like the Holo Orange it's a bit thick but application was never an issue, it glides smoothly and evenly. Just make sure not to apply thick coats because it tends to goop.
  • Finish: Jelly/Glitter
  • Coat(s): 2 coats for full opacity with top coat
  • Drying Time: A bit slow

As I mentioned on my last post with Holo Orange they're both great for layering, as you can see in the photo above. Holo Chrome over Black (Jordana) on my index and middle finger and Holo Orange over  Tangy (Jordana) on my ring and pinky finger. I love layering they elevate boring to pretty colors in a whole different dimension. Pretty much I love Holo Chrome and in fact I like it better than Holo Orange when it comes to wearing it alone because the base is more opaque, but kid you not I really don't like the smell. But despite that downside aspect I still like this brand they do have a lot of great colors.

Hope you like my swatch and review for today and until next time lovelies :)

Holo Orange by Kleancolor

Hello ladies!

I bought a couple of a local beauty store brand polishes last week and I'll be doing an individual swatch and review for them, so first I have here "Holo Orange by Kleancolor".

  • Color Description: An orange tinted sheer base packed with orange and holo micro glitters
  • Formula: It's a little bit on a thick side but application is never a problem, very easy to work with no streaks whatsoever, it feels gritty after drying so a shiny top coat is a must.
  • Finish: Sheer/Glitter
  • Coat(s): 3 coats for full opacity with top coat
  • Drying Time: A bit slow
Overall, I like this polish so sparkly on the nails and very true to color. This is also great for layering but it's still pretty wearing it alone, even though it stinks a little bit but you get what you paid for. It is indeed wallet friendly and at the same time worth having in my stash.

Purple Palette

Hello nail polish lovers!

I have another gorgeous and sparkly polish for you today. Purple Palette by Finger Paints.

  • Color Description: A purple jelly base with silver, purple and iridescent glitters
  • Formula: I'm not a fan of the thick formula, not so good even though without a thinner this polish managed to really pull its beauty off. The formula being thick I didn't have a problem with the application though, just irks me sometimes.
  • Finish: Jelly Based Glitter
  • Coat(s): 3 coats for full opacity with top coat
  • Drying Time: Fast
I really love the iridescent and fine glow of the glitters, it really looks way better in real life than in the pictures, especially when your nails hit the lights bam! super gorgeous. I wish the formula was a little bit thinner but not really big of a deal. You can find Finger Paints exclusively at Sally Beauty for $5.29 per bottle.

Let me know your thoughts about my post for today in the comments below. Love ya!
