A Week Off with Gradient Mani

Hello ladies!

Sorry for my absence, I took a week off of cyber life and blogging me and my husband celebrated our first year anniversary yesterday and we spent the whole week just to be alone together, all I want to say we had fun and quality time well spent, I really don't want to go blah blah blah about the details lol.

I will make this post short because we're going to the movies later, hopefully we don't change our mind we always do that. This is my 2nd attempt of gradient mani.

I used:

Base Coat - Quirius
Base Color - Pastel Yellow by Kleancolor
Sponged Color - Fly by OPI
Glitter - Silver Jewel by Jordana

Nayy or Yayy? Let me know your thoughts, would love to hear them.

Dots Gradient

Hello to my lovely readers!

Can you feel the weather changing? I know I do, it starts to get cooler and I love it. So before I go on with my nails I want to share some few stuff with you guys. I'm going to numerate them so that my post would look organized :).

1. I just pre-ordered the OPI James Bond Collection including the 18k Gold Leaf Top Coat thanks to my dear husband from this eBay seller for $95 and free shipping, that's quite a big savings right there. So I'm really excited about it.

2. Preview of my second giveaway winning Freshly Baked Delicious Skincare Line: Sweets For Feet from Beauty Tidbits. I haven't receive it yet, so I'm really excited about this one too.

3. I'm one of the winners of Jilltastic Blogger Mystery Giveaway hosted by these lovely bloggers Jilltastic Nail Design, BeautyGnome, College Polished, Tall Girl In Heels, 365 Days of Color, DIY Polish & More, Beyond Beauty Lounge, XO Noelle, Princess Polish, Manicurator, Peace Love Lacquer, and Munchy Nails. Since this is a mystery giveaway of course I don't know what I'll be getting which makes it more exciting. I am getting my winning from Tamala of Tall Girl In Heels and I cannot wait for it.

So moving on to phase 2, my nails that I did today is "Dots Gradient". I actually love how this one came out, I'm glad I picked the right colors. I took this inspiration from Oooh, Shinies! her dotted gradient is just flawless, you should check it out. And here's my version of it.

I used:

Dotting Tools
Base Color - Chiffon by Jordana
Dots - Bottom to Tip (Paying With Platinum by Spoiled, Plenty of Fish in the Sea by Spoiled and Retro Green by Kleancolor)
Top Coat - Seche Vite

My First Gradient

How are you guys doing today? Today my post is about my first gradient mani which it turned out to be pretty, the gradient wasn't really that perfect but not bad either, but I think I pulled it off with a little help of the holo foil strip that I bought when I was still in the Philippines. I will tell you more about it, as we go along.

Okay so first things first, my base color and gosh I want to smack myself from taking photos of this color, it's a Hot Neon Pink polish from Ruby Kisses HD it's just so hard to photograph using my iPhone. I really need to get a good camera one day. So anyway, I tried really hard to get good photos but I don't think the photos below are really true to color. Let me show you what I'm talking about.

2 coats

So then, I decided to make a gradient mani instead. I used OPI Did It On Em to achieve the gradient  look over my base color. I kind of managed to execute the idea, however it wasn't really successful I don't know, I just let you be the judge. But there's something extra, to make the look pretty special I remember that I have stuff that I use for scrapbooking and I thought it would be cool to apply it on my nails even though they're not intended for nail art but I did an experiment somehow.

So that 's my finish mani right there. Well I think you know that it's self-explanatory how I did the whole thing right? Well guys what do you think of this mani? Do you want to try to use a scrapbooking material as nail art? Share me your thoughts and if did this mani inspired you somehow. Thanks for reading this post.
