Haul and Swatches

Hello lovelies,

I am really excited to show you my haul for today. I received them this morning together with the item that I won from a giveaway. I bought 7 Jordana polishes from Cherry Culture for $1.99 and I got a very lovely glitter polish from Lush Lacquer, a giveaway by The Painted Pony. This is my first time buying from Cherry Culture and I will surely buy from them again. I had no problem with the shipping and handling very well packaged, and I am very pleased with the colors I picked as well.

Left to right: Lilac Hearts, Silver Jewel, Chiffon, Mint Candy, Tangy, Purple Punch, Black, Lush Lacquer Snow Globe

Swatches

Color Description: Almond
Formula: Good, smooth during application
Finish: Creme
Coat(s): 2
Drying Time: Fast

I love this color as we know nudes can be very delicate as it may clash with your skin tone but this one suits mine.

Color Description: Mint Green with Emeral Micro Shimmer
Formula: Smooth during but a bit streaky during first coat
Finish: Shimmer/Sheer
Coat(s): 3
Drying Time: Fast

I really love this color my favorite of the bunch, it so pretty too bad I couldn't capture the dazzling shimmer that really makes this polish so special.  If you're into green you will really adore this beauty.

Color Description: Reddish/Pinkish Warm Coral
Formula: Good, smooth during application
Finish: Creme
Coat(s): 2
Drying Time: Fast

This color is really warm that it makes my skin look dark but I still love this color though. Fair skinned will rock this.

Color Description: Purple with Red Violet/Magenta Shimmer
Formula: Good, smooth during application
Finish: Shimmer
Coat(s): 2
Drying Time: Fast

This one was so hard to photograph for me to use an indoor light just to come up the color that looks close to it's real life. Actually the shimmer is so pretty that I feel bad I couldn't translate it to the picture. Purple junkies this one's for you.

Color Description: Black
Formula: Good, very smooth during application
Finish: Creme
Coat(s): 1 thick coat
Drying Time: Fast

What can I say, this one is so basic but a one-coat wonder. I finally have a black polish and I love that  I only need 1 thick coat for full opacity.

Color Description: Clear based with Lilac Hearts and Iridescent Holo Small Glitters
Formula: The base is not thick but the hearts makes it hard during application
Finish: Glitter
Coat(s): 1
Drying Time: Quite Fast

This glitter is so adorable but beware these little hearts can be stubborn they are so hard to pick-up with the brush, what I did was pick the hearts one by one with the brush and dabbed it on the nails

Color Description: Clear Based with Silver Hex Glittters
Formula: Glitters tends to clump so you have to be gentle with your brush strokes
Finish: Glitter
Coat(s): 1
Drying Time: Quite Fast

This glitter screams party. The silver is so sparkly love this so much my second favorite after Mint Candy. I'm pretty sure glitter lover will love this.

Color Description: Clear Based packed with Pink, Gold, Red, Blue, Purple and White Salt Like Glitters
Formula: Good, smooth during application
Finish: Glitter
Coat(s): 1
Drying Time: Fast

I really love this glitter, it is so colorful and it did not disappoint the clear base is not thick the glitters don't clump at all. I'm glad I picked this one I'm so happy with Snow Globe.

I really recommend Jordana for those who wants to be thrifty because not only that they're cheap but they have good formula as well. There you have it guys. Hope you like my post for today.

Monday Layering

Hello ladies!

Finally I'm in the mood to do my nails today, I guess I need to pinch myself every time I feel lazy doing it lol. So lately I've been busy with giveaways! Yeah you heard me giveaways baby. I'm addicted to it, in fact I won for the first time a giveaway by The Painted Pony, if you haven't followed her better check her blog out. I won a full size Lush Lacquer Polish of my choice and I chose "Snow Globe".

So I cannot wait for it to arrive. Well moving on, my mani for today is all about layering. Since I have this glitter polish that I only used one time and I kind of have a mixed feeling about it, I was not quite impressed when I wore it for the first time, and I'm talking about OPI Save Me from Nicki Minaj collection and now I realize why. I will tell you about it as I go along.

I used:

Base Color - Fly by OPI
1st Layer - Paying With Platinum by Spoiled
2nd Layer - Save Me by OPI
Top Coat - Seche Vite

1 thick coat of Fly by OPI no top coat
Fly layered with 1 coat of Paying With Platinum no top coat
final layer 1 thick coat of Save Me

Save Me is a beautiful glitter polish with a clear base composed of silver micro-glitters, teal and holo bars/strings glitter. At first I didn't liked it at all, but now I know why, this is one of those glitter polish out there that you need to have a specific base color in order for you to appreciate its beauty or better yet wear it alone. So now I'm loving it, just need to have a perfect base for it. So that's it for me today guys, til next time.

xoxo Tintin
